230 Players and Climbing in Flight A of Event #2

We have just hit the 230 player mark in Event #2  - $365 No Limit Hold'em Re-entry, and players are now in the middle of the 6th level of play (150/300 blinds and a 25 ante).

A few of the notable players in the field include Carlo Sciannameo, Fred Paradis, Soukha Kachittavong, Robert Ricciuti, David Stefanski, and Billy Pappas. 

Anyone wishing to enter/re-enter into this first of four flights has until the start of level 9 to do so (around 9:30 pm).

Event #2A - $580 No-Limit Hold'em Re-Entry Begins at 5pm

The second gold ring event of the day is Event #2A - $580 No-Limit Hold'em Re-Entry. This tournament boasts a $500,000 guarantee, and features four starting flights.


5PM - Event #2A: $580 No-Limit Hold'em $500K Guarantee Re-Entry

• Late registration is open until the start of Level 9.
• Players begin with 12,000 in tournament chips.
• Blinds start at 25/50
• The tournament features four starting flights:
  • Flight A:Thursday at 5pm
  • Flight B: Friday at 11am
  • Flight C: Friday at 5pm
  • Flight D: Saturday at 11am
• Players are allowed unlimited re-entries
• Day 1 is scheduled to play 15 levels
  
  • Levels 1-12 are 30 minutes
  • Levels 13-21 are 40 minutes
  • Levels 22 + are 50 minutes
• There will be a 11-minute break after Levels 4,8, and 12 on Day 1s
• Players who advance to Day 2 will return Sunday August 21st at 12:00 p.m.

Event #1 Prizepool/Payout Information - 233 Entries

Registration is closed for Event #1, and the numbers are in. A total of 233 players entered this event, generating a prizepool worth $69,900. That money will be shared by the final 24 players, with a min-cash worth $643. The eventual champion will earn $17,475, the first gold ring of the Series, and 50 points for an early lead in the Casino Champion race.

Late Registration Closed

Level 9 is underway and late registration has officially closed. According to the clock, there were 230 players who registered for the event which creates a prizepool of $69,000.  When the staff releases official numbers, we will confirm the official field size and prizepool along with payouts.

Event #1 - First Break

Players are now back from their first ten minute break of the day. There are currently 184 entries, and registration is open until the beginning of Level 9.

They are now playing Level 6, with 150/300 blinds and a 25 ante. 

A few notables in the field include Jason Bolton, Mac VerStandig, Mike Nye, Bob Ferdinand, Chris Tryba, Je Wook Oh ,and "Worldwide John" Matson.
