Ted Driscoll was just down to 3,000 in chips (3 big blinds) a few hands ago. He doubled up twice, and said that he would like to double a third time to feel comfortable.
Action folds to Driscoll in middle position who moves his 19,000 chips all in. It folds to the player in the small blind who shrugs, and hesitantly calls for over half of his stack.
Driscoll: A♥Q♠
Small Blind: 7♠7♣
"It's a classic race," a player not involved in the hand says aloud to the table.
"I just wish someone else would have isolated so I could fold here," the small blind says.
The flop comes A♠10♠9♥ giving Driscoll the lead with a pair of aces.
The 6♠ turn and 2♣ river are safe, and Driscoll will double a third time.

Main Event, Flight A - Peter Everett Knocks One Out
Robert Ricciuti contemplates a call (4 seat) after two all-in shoves (seats 5 & 6) |
Level: 5
Blinds: 100/200
Ante: 25
Current Entries: 115
Current Remaining: 96
Avg. Chip Stack: 34,375
Live Streamed Feature Table: twitch.tv/foxwoodspoker
Gennadiy Kostrov limps in from middle position. Robert Ricciuti makes it 575 in late position, and Peter Eerett calls in the hijack. The cutoff, both blinds and Kostrov all call as well.
"You gotta love it when you raise and get every possible caller at the table," Ricciuti says with a smile.
"Jovy folded," a player not involved in the hand says while pointing to Jovy Ounthongdy on the button.
"Oh, I didn't see that. Still, pretty close," Ricciuti says with a chuckle.
The flop comes K♣7♣5♣. It checks to Ricciuti who bets 1,250. Everett calls, and the cutoff makes it 7,800. It folds back to Ricciuti who calls the 7,800, and Everett announces that he is all in for around 24,000. The cutoff pauses for a moment before he also shoves all in for less (around 20,000). Ricciuti pauses for over a minute before hesitantly releasing his cards and saying, "Alright, alright."
Everett: Q♣J♣ (flush)
Cutoff: 7♥5♥ (two pair)
The 10♦ turn and J♦ river do not change the hand and Everett is awarded the pot while his opponent is eliminated from play (with the option to re-enter).
