Nathan Bristol - 7th Place - $2,447 |
Nathan Bristol came back from just 2,400 in chips to cash 7th in today's tournament. He said that he credits listening to one particular song by "Highly Suspect" on repeat for the last few hours. Today's cash is Bristol's second World Series of Poker cash, but his first ever Circuit cash. In 2016 he cashed in the WSOP $565 Pot-Limit Omaha event in Vegas.
Bristol told the blog staff that his grandmother Gabe was a big believer in his poker playing. On July 3rd of this summer, she passed away and left Nathan a small amount of money to use on poker.
"My 7th place victory is not only my own, but a big part belongs to her," Bristol said.
Congratulations to Nathan for an awesome run!
