Event 9 of the Foxwoods Mega Stack Challenge was the $230 NLH Ladies Only event. There were a total of 32 entries creating a prize pool of $6,400.
The final five ladies would all make the money and when five handed play began they agreed to a deal.
They would all take home $1,200 each and play for an extra $208 and the Foxwoods Mega Stack Challenge trophy.
When it was all said and done Cheryl Sloane was the last lady standing and will earn $1,408 along with her first Foxwoods Mega stack Challenge title.

Day 1A of the $1,650 NLH Main Event drew a total of 116 entries and 46 players players will be advancing to Day 2.
After twelve levels of play it's Paul Radochia leading the way with 290,600. Scott Efron is right behind him with 257,700 and Frank Pasantino rounds out the top three with 242,000.

The second Main Event flight field continues to grow and Soukha Kachittavong was among the first players to take their seats. He is off fresh off a win in yesterdays $400 NLH $100,000 guaranteed event.
Kachittavong bested a field of 369 entries to take home nearly $20,000 and the trophy as part of a anjusted payout deal. He is off to a red hot start and has already nearly doubled his starting stack with over 50,000.

Jim Magner eliminated Alex Rocha earlier in our first Main Event flight winning the flip with ace queen against the pocket nines of Rocha.
Rocha bought back in and was once again seated at the table with Manger. In one of the first hands back from the break we caught up to the heads up action on a flop of 9♥️5♣️3♥️. Rocha bet 10,000 and Manger raised to 25,000.
With the action back on Rocha he moved all in for 45,000 and Manger quickly called. Rocha showed Q♥️Q♣️ but his pocket queens were no good as Manger turned over A♥️A♦️.
The turn J♥️ and river 9♠️ sealed the deal for Manger and Rocha was eliminated. Manger dragged in the pot and is now up to about 140,000.

Jeff Yanchek took home his first Foxwoods Mega Stack Challenge title after winning Event 5 the $300 Big Stack NLH earlier this week for over $12,000 and the trophy.
He is picking up right where he left off here in the first flight of the $1,650 NLH Main Event. Yanchek is now up to about 100,000 and is one of the largest stacks in the room as we approach the break.

The action folds to the player in the cutoff and he raises to 800. The player on the button re-raises to 2,200 and Carlo Sciannameo makes it 7,200 from the small blind.
The cutoff folds and the button makes the call. They go heads up to the 6♥️4♦️2♣️ flop and Sciannaemo continues with a bet of 11,000. His opponent has about 18,000 behind and tanks for a bit counting down his stack but eventually elects to fold.
Sciannameo adds another pot to his stack and he is now up to about 70,000.

Last years Foxwoods Mega Stack Challenge $1,650 NLH Main Event drew a total of 222 entries. When the dust settled Steven Berkowitz was the last man standing.
Berkowitz bested a stacked final table that including Je Wook Oh, Fred Paradis and Zach Donovan to take home $53,350 and his first Foxwoods Poker title.
He is back to defend his title and his just taken his seat here in our first Main Event flight.

Eugene Roemischer raises to 550 from early position and it folds to Eric Siegel in late position who makes it 1,800. It folds back to Roemischer who makes the call and they go heads up to the 9♣️8♦️6♦️ flop.
Roemischer checks and Siegel tosses out a bet of 3,100. With the action back on Roemischer he check raises to 8,200. Siegel thinks it over for just a few moments and makes it 18,000.

Roemischer instantly moves all in for his last 33,000 sending Siegel deep into the tank. Siegel has just 11,275 behind so a call would be for his tournament life.

Day 1A registration and re-entry will close before the start of level 10 or approximately 5:45 P.M. and the Day 1B flight kicks off at 5 P.M.

It was nearing 2 A.M. and the stacks were getting shallow in the $300 NLH Big Stacks Event. The final four players began to discuss an adjusted payout deal.
It didn't take long for an agreement to be made and they then played it out for the trophy and Charles Bunker came out on top.
