It didn't take long for all of the chips to get in the middle here in our Event 12 heads up match. Jeff Higgins check raised all in for nearly 1,500,000 in one of the first hands of heads up play.
Aleksey Filatov snap called turning over Q♣️Q♦️ and Higgins showed A♦️5♦️. There was an ace in the window on the A♣️9♥️3♦️ flop and Filatov sat silently shaking his head. Higgins moved into the lead and was Filatov now looking to improve.
The turn brought the 4♦️ and the K♣️ completed the board. Higgins doubled up and now holds a massive chip lead with 2,950,000 of the 3,450,000 in play.
