Olivier Busquet was one of two players to enter on Day 2 and wasted little time putting his 50,000 chip starting stack to work. Cheng Lee was the first player to hit the rail in 4th and Nick Pupillo soon followed in 3rd.
Busquet would then play a nearly four hour heads up match with Galen Hall and in the end it all came down to a classic coin flip. Busquet held J♥️J♠️ against the A♥️K♦️ of Hall in an all-in pre-flop confrontation.
Hall failed to improve and is our $5,000 NLH High Roller runner up taking home $16,413. Olivier Busquet adds his first Foxwoods Poker title and $27,354 to his ever growing live poker resume which now boasts over $8,000,000 in earnings.
