Brian Stearn
The Day 1 Monster Stack field is thinning fast and plenty of big stacks are starting to emerge. Brian Stearn who is seated at our livestream feature table is one of them.

Stearn has been quietly chipping up here after the dinner break. He is now up to about 425,000 with less than five levels of play left in the night and well within striking distance of the chip leader.

Our Monster Stack chip leader did not want to give his name but he is letting his chips do the talking. We caught up to the heads up action on a flop of 10♠️6♥️5♥️ and the chip leader checked.

His opponent threw out a bet only to see our chip leader check raise all-in. The player went deep into the tank as a call for his last 150,000 would also be for his tournament life.

After giving it plenty of thought the player laid his hand down claiming to have folded ace ten. The chip leader was kind enough to turn over his 6♣️5♦️ for a flopped two pair while he rake in the 60,000 chip pot.

He is now over 500,000 and is the first Monster Stack player to cross the million chip mark.
