Event 3 $250 NLH Turbo: Payouts, $16,560 Up Top

Event 3 of the Foxwoods WSOP Circuit is the $250 NLH Turbo. There were a total of 360 entries creating a prize pool of $72,000. The final 36 players will all make the money and be guaranteed at least $374.

We will be crowing our Event 3 Champion here in the late night hours and they will take home $16,560 along with the WSOP Circuit ring. Below is a full look at the final Event 3 tournament payouts.

Event 2: Final Payouts, $134,570 Up Top

Event 2 of the Foxwoods WSOP Circuit is the $600 NLH (Re-Entry) with a $500,000 Guarantee. There was a massive turnout with 1,560 entries creating a prize pool of $803,400.

The final 171 players will all make the money and be guaranteed at least $964 for their efforts. One lucky winner will take home $134,570 along with the coveted WSOP ring.

Event 2D $600 NLH: Chris Serafin Bags the Overall Chip Lead

The final Event 2 field drew a massive number of 685 entries. Chris Serafin managed to bag the overall chip lead putting a staggering 495,000 in the bag. Serafin will return to Day 2 all alone at the top of the chip counts as there is only two other players left in the hunt over 300,000.

There are 331 total players remaining and they will return on Sunday August 19 at 11 A.M. to resume play. Below is a look at some of the players from this flight that will be moving on.

Dan Podheiser raised to 400 from early position and a player in late position called. With the action on Lenny Loyd in the cutoff he re-raised to 1,600. It folded back to Podheiser who moved all in for about 25,000 and the late position player folded.

Loyd snap called for his last 13,875 turning over K♣️K♠️ and he was dominating the Q♠️Q♦️ of Podheiser. The board ran out clean for Loyd and he earned the pot and the double up.

Fabio Dagata was on the wrong end of a cooler and lost a 100,000 chip pot. He thought it was the end of the road and made his exit from the tournament. While Dagata went to the restroom a player approached him informing him that he still had 5,000 on the table.

Dagata ran back to his seat and quickly found a double up. He never looked back and is now sitting behind a healthy stack of more than 75,000.

Event 3 $250 NLH Turbo: Cards in the Air

As the Day 1D Event 2 continues to thin down another tournament is just getting underway. Event 3 of the Foxwoods WSOP Circuit is the $250 NLH Turbo with a $25,000 guarantee.

The cards are now in the air and the players will start with 10,000 in non-value tournament chips. Re-entries will remain available until the end of registration. The levels will last 20-minutes with a 10 minute break after levels 4,8,14,19 and 25.

We caught up to the heads up action on the river on the A♣️Q♣️Q♥️4♥️2♠️ board. There was already close to 40,000 in the main pot and Andrew Weinstein checked. His opponent moved all in covering Weinstein who had 18,000 behind.

Weinstein thought it over for a bit and made the call. "Good call" his opponent said turning over 10♣️9♣️ for just 10 high. Weinstein tabled his Q♠️J♠️ for trip queens to earn the pot and the double up.

The cards are back in the air here in our final Event 2 flight. That means that tournament registration and re-entry are now closed.

As expected we saw a massive turnout today and there were 685 Day 1D entries. This brings the combined Day 1A-D Event 2 total to 1,560 entries.

The $500,000 guarantee was crushed and there is more than $800,000 in the prize pool. The Event 2 tournament payouts are being finalized and will be posted as soon as they're available.
