Event 1: Heads-Up Deal, Macri Takes the Trophy and $87,000

With the elimination of Andrew Cooper in third the final two players quickly agreed to a deal. The payouts were already adjusted with four players remaining and Ralph Macri and Kyle Merron were already each guaranteed $75,000.

They quickly struck a deal in which Macri who was holding a more than 2-1 chip lead will take $87,000 and Merron will earn $83,000 for his runner-up finish.

Both players would like to dedicate this win to their dear friend John Caputo who passed away earlier this week and spent plenty of time here on the Foxwoods felt with both of our Event 1 winners.
