Event #3 of the Foxwoods Megastack Challenge is the $300 Seniors NLH with a $30,000 guaranteed prize pool.

There were 236 total entries creating a prize pool of $59,219. The final 27 players will all make the money and be guaranteed a minimum of $592 for their efforts.

There was a massive turnout for Event 1 of the Foxwoods Megastack Challenge. A total of 1,216 entries created a prize pool of over $621,000 crushing the $500,000 guarantee.

When the dust settled Matt Seltzer was the last man standing. Seltzer flew under the radar for much of day two and took the chip lead just before the final table.

He never looked back and in the early morning hours Seltzer earned his first Foxwoods Megastack Challenge trophy and $95,661 after defeating Tom Couture heads-up.

When heads up play began the players agreed to an adjusted payout deal. Tom Couture would lock up $70,000 and Matt Seltzer would lock up $80,000.

They then agreed to play for the $10,661 remaining in the prize pool. Just a few hands into heads up play Couture got his chips all in holding A♠️4♠️ against Seltzer's Q5♠️ on the Q♦️8♠️6♦️10♠️ board.

The 3♣️ river card was no help to Couture and he is our Event 1 runner up earning $70,000 for his efforts.

Sergio Braga

Sergio Braga got his stack of 4,500,000 all in pre-flop in a battle of the blinds holding 5♥️4♥️ against the 4♦️4♠️ of Matt Seltzer.

The dealer fanned the 10♥️9♠️9♥️ flop and Braga picked up a flush draw. He called for a heart but did not get his wish when the 7♠️ and J♠️ completed the board.

The players shook hands and Braga was eliminated in 3rd place earning $46,939 for his efforts.

Soheb Porbandarwala

Soheb Porbandarwala raised to 600,000 from the button and Matt Seltzer re-raised to 1,800,000 from the small blind. The big blind folded and Porbandarwala moved all in covering Seltzer.

After giving it some thought Seltzer called for his last 6,550,000 turning over A♠️J♣️ and Porbandarwala showed K♥️Q♣️.

The board ran out A♥️Q♠️2♦️6♠️3♥️ and Seltzer paired his ace in the window to earn the double up.

Porbandarwala was left with less than three big blinds and eliminated the very next hand in 4th place earning $32,876.

Michael Guzzardi moved all in from the small blind for 1,500,000 and Matt Seltzer snap called from the big blind.

Guzzardi turned over K♣️6♦️ but he was dominated by the A♣️K♥️ of Seltzer. Guzzardi paired his six on the flop to take the lead but an ace hit the turn for Seltzer.

The river was no help to Guzzardi and he was eliminated in 5th place earning $23,376 for his efforts.

Sergio Braga raised to 550,000 from under the gun and Dennis Moore called from the big blind. They went heads up to the Q♣️J♠️10♣️ flop and Moore moved all in for 1,800,000.

Braga snap called turning over Q♠️Q♥️ for top set and Moore showed K♠️8♠️. The turn 5♠️ and river 8♣️ sealed the deal for Braga and Moore was eliminated in 7th place earning $15,001 for his efforts.
